| Inaugural visits took place in 1995 with great success. A tree has been planted at Lady's Well to mark the friendship between our two communities, and there is a similar tree in La Bonneville. |

Many more meetings with our French
friends have taken place since then, including a sports weekend,
ceilidhs, and trips to Cambridge and Flatford Mill here in England,
and a karaoke, and visits to Paris and Monet's garden at Giverny
in France. We visit La Bonneville in alternate years. |
