  • Community Chinwag

    Friday 7th June 2024 10:00am — 12:00pm

    A ‘Chinwag’ is a social group for the over 60’s. Free refreshments, activities and entertainment, plenty of chat and an opportunity for everyone to come along regardless of their interests, challenges, mental health, physical difficulties or caring status.

    A talk by Lucy Lewis - "Lighting the Fuse" - Lucy was the first woman to operate as a bomb disposal officer.

    Come and see the beautiful and varied gardens in the village.

    with Raffle, W.I. Cake and Produce stall, musical entertainment and plants sales

  • Stowmarket Striders Running Club Annual Friday Five Road Race .

    Friday 28th June 2024 7:30pm — 8:30pm

    The race starts in Haughley Park and follows drives across the park for 775m before leaving the park and turning left on to Wood Road, Woolpit (270m north of the bridge over the A14). At the end of Wood Road, the course bears left on to The Heath and after 400m bears left again on to Shelland Green. The race route returns to the park.
