Archaeologists working on the Old Stowmarket Road site in 2020 made some fascinating finds including the burial of a 'Beaker man'. The full article is under the heading 'Archaeological Dig Old Stowmarket Road' in the box on the right.  

 The village centre is a conservation area with many listed buildings. Some are timber framed buildings and some brick faced.
